I dunno what this is (beyond seeing the miniature DIN connector, which I recognize). Does anyone know anything technical about it? Is it a serial port, or how does it jam the bits in? Please, I'm looking for a technical answer so I can assess whether this Logitech keyboard, which includes a separate connector for the integral touch pad (this is the ps/2 mouse port I'm asking about) would be recognized as a device by FreeBSD. Don't worry about the X interface part, I know that's a totally separate question, one I don't want to ask here. I just want to see if bits coming in a ps/2 mouse port become a device somehow. ----------------------------+----------------------------------------------- Chuck Robey | Interests include any kind of voice or data chuckr@glue.umd.edu | communications topic, C programming, and Unix. 213 Lakeside Drive Apt T-1 | Greenbelt, MD 20770 | I run Journey2 and picnic (FreeBSD-current) (301) 220-2114 | and jaunt (NetBSD). ----------------------------+----------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
