Hi, Fred Clark pointed out that the reply sent by majordomo when subscribing to SMP is sorely out of date, among other things describing the old pre-merge method of getting the source. Please ignore this info. The new message will look something like: FREEBSD-SMP Technical discussions This is a forum for technical discussions related to the FreeBSD Symmetric MultiProcessor kernel. This is the primary technical mailing list. It is for individuals actively working on FreeBSD SMP, to bring up problems or discuss alternative solutions. Individuals interested in following the technical discussion are also welcome. Be aware that FreeBSD SMP is currently BETA level software, and should NOT be used for mission critical applications. In addition it is subject to all the caveats of FreeBSD current, anyone using the SMP kernel should also be subscribed to current@FreeBSD.org. Further information on installation and maintaince can be found at: http://www.freebsd.org/~fsmp/SMP/SMP.html -- Steve Passe | powered by smp@csn.net | Symmetric MultiProcessor FreeBSD
