I updated and as expected my problems (that were not present before 0228) are still not resolved. In case somobody is interested, I'll save you the time to check archives: this is an IBM ThinkPad 570E which used to report the correct temperature; while now under load hw.acpi.thermal.tz0.temperature is read as 65535 (-1).
