Message-ID: <20010909011908.B785@v-ger.we.lc.ehu.es> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline User-Agent: Mutt/1.2.5i X-Operating-System: FreeBSD 4.4-RC Sender: owner-freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk List-ID: List-Archive: (Web Archive) List-Help: (List Instructions) List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I am confused about the package collections for 4.4-RC3 and 4.4-RC4. A listing of /pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386 shows: ... drwxrwxr-x 75 1006 1006 1536 Sep 7 00:02 packages-4.4-rc3 drwxr-xr-x 75 1006 1006 1536 Sep 5 04:59 packages-4.4-rc4 lrwxrwxrwx 1 1006 1006 16 Sep 7 10:59 packages-4.4-release -> packages-4.4-rc4 ... Notice that packages-4.4-rc3 is more recent that packages-4.4-rc4. OTOH we can see in /pub/FreeBSD/releases/i386/4.4-RC4: lrwxrwxrwx 1 1006 1006 36 Sep 7 05:08 packages -> ../../../ports/i386/packages-4.4-rc3 so that the package collection symlinked from 4.4-RC4 is packages-4.4-rc3 instead of packages-4.4-rc4. I would be thankful if someone could explain that. Cheers, JMA -- ****** Jose M.
