Whilst xterm (and the other terminals I= 've tried) allow arbitrarily sized freetype fonts, the requested size is rounde= d so that a character cell is an integer number of pixels. In my case, that mea= ns I have a choice of "too big" (3 terminals are too wide to fit across the sc= reen) or "too small" (the fontsize is a bit too small for comfort). Does anyone = know of a terminal that doesn't round character cells to be an integer number of= pixels? --=20 Peter Jeremy --HlL+5n6rz5pIUxbD Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQKTBAEBCgB9FiEE7rKYbDBnHnTmXCJ+FqWXoOSiCzQFAlr2JH9fFIAAAAAALgAo aXNzdWVyLWZwckBub3RhdGlvbnMub3BlbnBncC5maWZ0aGhvcnNlbWFuLm5ldEVF QjI5ODZDMzA2NzFFNzRFNjVDMjI3RTE2QTU5N0EwRTRBMjBCMzQACgkQFqWXoOSi CzQg7w/+L+mKvne/b9Qx2hS/IatVVhRhb0FuOov4R62kFm67/I2sOPtxj1WuiIiK xSsvP0GVtc9dzlXVh728KSHFbhu75RCd8GJy+UDyknl7R7w6429fA4C1IU3xFjee OZ+QZTzsSTziZWrdzQFtvk4UweLkee6Dy9G4g1xgLuu6AaIagqp04DIlRmAyeTkl iMfnq8JRYxGOgetGMCex5s5yQbJyMzNXmZbAfQKQ4UPfxkw4J0w+TTwlL7gwmF0B meDLzVbiUhzSVlqEndlLE57aY8UdsulBlsTtsAUc5FsvLrOux8weeN9QA/2vHTqr nGxgYOh9PiyC/mecYf+QPFRKmPAoJtAUV42fHKSUxcWpvyuY/7fD1i2aodQgpwF/ PmppFW4HotXZl+DCFo34S+rfAn8RHWil/HqRh44kNrjAYjORLRJolUTcflSFP05Q YZBQ9s77yzpoy9Tg5M5mO/Lrcf3diqNXFdlGuzGDLlyiksG8CqSWVl6OZmijeUy+ 2hkxoJhNJQCg9KToXbG60eML4NHHHQrtqEsD0YsyAez+NdoBRxZPjUn/bKo71iLX 1Ekn7KleUeMbIxuCzgJLb652dInYL3E1FmASyv+qQxamI/Y63Kly1pCyFR25AhxU ohO6SNEAQXBhE3anIDmXcP8M0y6KsqQT6zI1vt84fChWmLU7fwM= =Lk6L -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --HlL+5n6rz5pIUxbD--
