I am in need of installing Java 1.2.2 in a "virtual private server"
offering from ViaVerio (iServer). They run under FreeBSD 4.4.

Looking at their documentation, they state:

You must install this yourself. Installation is not supported.
See the following for more information.
    FreeBSD Java Project: JDK 2
    (http://www.viaverio.com/support/virtual/java/index.cfm)

After messing arround on it for a while I was unable to get all the
pieces into the iServer account to be able to make the build.

Question 1: has anybody have any expirience getting java 1.2.2
installed in an iServer?

Question 2: Does anybody has a binary package for JDK 1.2.2
ready to install in a FreeBSD 4.4 box?

Many Thanks in advance,
Jaime
