Hi all, i try to make working Head on apple hardware: mac mini (nvidia). the soundcard is an claims to be an ALC-885. the driver does not load automatically. one loaded snd_hda we have: cat /dev/sndstat FreeBSD Audio Driver (newpcm: 32bit 2009061500/i386) Installed devices: pcm0: <HDA Realtek ALC885 PCM #0 Analog> (play/rec) default pcm1: <HDA Realtek ALC885 PCM #1 Digital> (play/rec) pcm2: <HDA Realtek ALC885 PCM #2 Analog> (play) the mixer0 1 and 2 are present. /usr/sbin/mixer works, at least for the values. but playing something say "coq.wav" gives: ...
