to build from source, install

/usr/ports/lang/egcs

/usr/ports/x11-toolkits/gtk12

download and manually install libIDL

ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/libraries/source/libIDL-0.6.5.tar.gz

pull the mozilla source via cvs

check out these build instructions:

http://www.mozilla.org/build/unix-details.html

then build.

the best thing to do is watch the tinderbox ports page:

http://cvs-mirror.mozilla.org/webtools/tinderbox/showbuilds.cgi?tree=SeaMonkey-Ports&nocrap=1

When you see green for FreeBSD, pull the source and build.

I've been successfully building on 3.3 for some time now.
Getting apprunner to run is another story ;-).

i have some mozilla binaries posted here:

ftp://204.107.76.15/pub/
