I am investigating using JDBC to access an Oracle database server from a FreeBSD system. The freeBSD system does not have X windows running on it. Is it possible to install jdbc-oracle816 plus what it needs to live and not need X? Our uses of this would be in the command-line and script modes so we don't need X except possibly for libraries which are okay. I just don't want to have to run X if I can help it. Thank you.
