It is an oversight > on my part. Try this patch and let me know how it works for you. It doesn't like that. With the compat I get a segfault. unfortunately, the corefile is not to helpful as I don't have a debug libc around. Here's the bt anyway: (gdb) bt #0 0x280fd970 in nsdispatch () from /usr/lib/libc.so.5 #1 0x0804c80b in ?? () #2 0x00780073 in ?? () Kinda special. With the passwd: files ldap, it works fine. -gordon --HBXo5IaYAxUG7vuS Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE+qFsvRu2t9DV9ZfsRAnvPAKCbtSVjQm1m4YmbfLpYBBubEQQ4WACZAbUc iH79lfJuNypYxUWs7N9w9Ak= =syYd -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --HBXo5IaYAxUG7vuS--
