Hmm, I think we should try to have the same style as the src/ tree like
the example below.  It's not something I feel very strongly about, it
just seems silly to have a different style in doc/ for no apparent
reason.

BTW. when I'm writing to you anyway, thanks for the events/ fixes.

More or less random example from a src Makefile :
