BSDer's, I have some more info and more questions regarding my two new
MA401RA's, and I would like anyone who can to help me resolve. Let's
take it from the top....

MA401RA #1 (HOSTAP) is in ThinkPad 760EL, acting as an access point.
This machine is running 4.6.2-RELEASE, and works like a champ, except
for the following. I can change the 'selected' Tx speed to anything
that I want, but the 'actual' is ALWAYS 2, no matter what. This is
confirmed by a D-LINK CF adapter in my iPAQ showing 2Mbps speed. The
iPAQ will show 11Mbps speed while associated to a 'real' access point.
Here is the output from 'wicontrol':

MA401RA #2 (CYCLOPS) is in Gateway 9300cl, acting as a client. This one
is all dorked up. It is running 4.7-RC2, but exhibits the same behavior
under 4.6.2-RELEASE. For starters, if there is no traffic on the link
for more than 2 minutes, the link light will start flashing and
connectivity will be lost. What is strange here is that issuing a
'wicontrol' as root still shows the properly configured WEP key, and
'ifconfig' shows the interface as ASSOCIATED, but with 'Current BSSID'
of 44:44:44:44:44:44. Obviously, something is flaky here, and the only
fix that I have found to keep this machine online is to schedule a cron
job to run 'wicontrol -L'. Downside... this every-minute cron kills my
ftp transfers, mp3 playback from LAN, etc. BLEH! Here is the output
from 'wicontrol' on this machine when it is working:

NIC serial number: [ 99SA01000000 ]
Station name: [ CYCLOPS ]

][ ][ ][ ]

When it goes sour, the output is exactly the same, except for this line:

Current BSSID: [ 44:44:44:44:44:44 ]

Here is the relevant information from dmesg:

wi0 at port 0x240-0x27f irq 11 flags 0x10000 slot 0 on pccard0
wi0: 802.11 address: 00:30:ab:1b:5e:50
wi0: using RF:PRISM2.5 MAC:ISL3873
wi0: Intersil Firmware: Primary 1.01.00, Station 1.04.09

Also notice that wicontrol shows the same serial number for both cards,
and it is incorrect in both cases. If more information is required to
help solve this, please let me know and I will provide ASAP.
