I'm really aching to get the JDK installed on my machine. I need it for my job. Unfortunately, I'm not running -current, so the port doesn't work for me. I have access to Motif libraries, but sadly the "port" isn't really a "port" as far as the ports collection are concerned, but rather a pre-compiled set of programs. I'd like to get my hands on the source code and patches applied to make these binaries. Is the JDK not distributed like that? Do I have to sign a non-disclosure agreement with Javasoft or something? Who is responsible for the FreeBSD JDK port? Thanks! -Jon
