Various PCMCIA-ISA bridges aren't supported by NEWCARD yet (for instance,
the one in my Thinkpad 380), so some of us are stuck with OLDCARD until
that is sorted out.

By the way, Warner, I'm always happy to test/help debug anything you've got
that might get my TP380 working with NEWCARD.  It uses some Cirrus Logic
chip (don't have the exact number to hand right now).  I haven't updated
that machine in a while, but NEWCARD couldn't find anything to talk to a
month or so ago, the last time I tried it.
