Ok, so to start with, we need an xorg log and conf.  If you kldload
radeon.ko before starting X then you can set hw.dri.0.debug=3D1 which will
dump a bunch of drm debugging into /var/log/messages.  That would be
useful.  Also having a look at "memcontrol list" might be a good idea.
