I seem to be having a problem with getting my PPP connection to work I have the connection running in Windows 95. It only takes 2 minutes to manually set up the connection. I put in my permanent IP address in and turn on encrypted password. In the PPP log it seems to be looking for LCP and the connection stays up for 1 minute and then disconnects. I am using CHAP password authentication with Telstra Bigpond DIRECT (Telstra is the major telecommunications co. in Aust.) I was looking for configuration details for PPP or PPPD. If anyone can help with this minor problem or would like further details on the matter, would you please be able to e-mail back soon.
