Hi Garrett, Any chance you can publish your cvsup invocations so that more sites can look at using cvsup instead of rsync. My feeling is that the archive has grown to a point where noone should simply be updating their archive by pointing it at FreeBSD/ and letting it go as this is having to build a huge list of files (and using memory). ftp.au.freebsd.org only uses rsync to sync against various package trees, releases when they are announced and a couple of smaller directories. for the last couple of years we've never needed to do a full sync. it would be interesting to know how many people are hitting ftp-master with a full sync, who really shouldn't. regards, -jason To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hubs" in the body of the message
