link to your system libraries to make the final binary (or was that

Anyhow, try Lyris.  They have a native FreeBSD version that works
really well, and should be feature similar to LISTSERV.  You can even
try it for free.  It is important to support vendors who support
FreeBSD.

Unless you do it as root, chances are really slim.  Even as root,
chances are pretty slim.

BSDi has a killer rock-solid SMP system, which FreeBSD is importing
for the 5.x versions.  BSDi is exceptionally stable, meaning that you
don't always get cutting edge software, but you can easily replace
what you don't like.  With FreeBSD 4.x, I gave up on BSDi because the
differences were not sufficient for me to pay their license and
maintenance fees, but that's a very *personal* decision.  It really
depends on your needs.
