 The problem with the suggestion is that rc.d/syscons is run late in the 
 boot process. You need to have your disks mounted before you can run 
 rc.d/syscons (which you can't obviously do if you have a geli encrypted 
 disk).So, the dependency is actually the reverse: syscons requires geli.
