I recently came across the security alert for Sendmail at http://linux.oreillynet.com/pub/a/linux/2001/08/27/insecurities.html. 1) How do I tell which version of sendmail I'm running? I've done a quick scan of the dang man page, and tried "-v" and "--version" with no luck. 2) Since sendmail is integrated in the freebsd install and located at /usr/sbin/sendmail, what's the procedure for upgrading it to 8.11.6 out of the ports tree? I just want to basically "replace" the currently installed version. Trevin Chow To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
