When I ran the script in IPFIlter to update the kernel source that's when the problems began. I recommend that you back up you existing config (which is probably AOK). try deleting /usr/src/sys/compile/KERNELNAME if recompile fails: rm -rf /usr/src/sys then use cvsup to get the kernel source again. do a test compile with your previous config If that works rerun the kernel patching utils with IPFilter.
