The weirdest thing happened, and I'm wondering if it happened to anyone else. I got a new computer. I installed windows on disk 0 and freeBSD on disk1 (more or less-- there was a bsd partition on disk0 for extra space). Anyhow, I'm not sure exactly what happened, but at some point, I found myself unable to boot FreeBSD because disk1's partition table had been replaced by a corrupted version of the table on disk0.
