2.1.0 is quite old and no longer supported. You should upgrade the machine to
either 2.2.8-STABLE, or (preferably) 3.1-STABLE, which is the current "stable"
release, is being actively maintained, and which is believed to be
Y2K-compliant. See http://www.freebsd.org for information on the upgrade
procedure.
