I'm having ELF interpreter problems Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Today, I installed some packages from the ports collection (i.e. mtools, xmascot), but when I attempted to run any of them, I received the following error message each time: ELF interpreter /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1 not found and the program would immediately abort. I'm using the 2.2.5 release of FreeBSD & I've never had this problem before. How can I remedy this situation? If I need to download a library from the Net, where can I obtain it? Thanks. ------------- Eric Lin elin@hmc.edu To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
