ppp will bring up a tun interface. Btw, what I was trying to say earlier is=
=20
that this all really isn't a problem. If you compile tun into the kernel,=20
this is what will be used and if you don't, the autoloaded module will be=20
used. This is probably the reason nobody bothered to fix this yet.
