I have a box which was previously tracking 2.2.8-stable, its world is
relatively recent. I just cvsuped to RELENG_3, and tried a 'make
buildworld', and I fail as follows:

cc -O -pipe -elf -Wall -Wno-unused -I/usr/obj/usr/src/tmp/usr/include -c
/usr/src/lib/csu/i386-elf/crtbegin.c -o crtbegin.o
/usr/src/lib/csu/i386-elf/crtbegin.c:30: section attributes are not
supported for this target
/usr/src/lib/csu/i386-elf/crtbegin.c:31: section attributes are not
supported for this target
{standard input}: Assembler messages:
{standard input}:73: Error: Unknown pseudo-op: `.section'
*** Error code 1

Stop.

Any clues?

Also, is there a document anywhere about how to upgrade from
2.2.x-stable to 3.0-stable?
