Although I don't have the RFC in front of me, this is laid out (as valid) in
some detail in O'Reilly's DNS & BIND 2ed, pp 324.  However, just because
it's legal doesn't necessarily mean you want to use it: I have seen NT3.51
choke on this, and I would assume NT 4.0 would too.  Not that this would
be *your* fault that Bill want's to set his own frigging "standards", but
since it will ultimately affect *your* global connectivity, you should prolly
stay away from that one...
