At Tue, 25 Sep 2001 it looks like Ceri composed:

Jeez, you made that look easy. I ended up using

############_snipped_################
foo=$

echo "9:`echo $foo|awk '{print $9}'`"
echo "10:`echo $foo|awk '{print $10}'`"
echo "11:`echo $foo|awk '{print $11}'`"
#####################################

Thanks for the help, it's for a Shell course I'm taking.

Jeez, I can't tell you the surprise I had when $10 didn't work (blush)
