I missed the original posting, but I had a G550 (I think - may have
been a 450, but I am fairly sure it was a 550) in my workstation here
until a couple of weeks ago, and it ran fine under 6.3 and 7.0. The only
slight niggle we had was having to disable the hardware mouse cursor as
otherwise there was no pointerr - but this is well documented as a problem
if you google for it.
