Hi, Apache + php + postgresql 6.5.1 worked greatly on my FreeBSD 3.1. However apache reply is very slow after I enabled named (I was trying to use named as local caching to speed up). If I kill named the apache replies normally. Then I deleted "named_enable=YES" in /etc/rc.conf but apache is still slow. I can keep killing named each time the machine boots up, but there must be some way. Postgresql 6.5.1 still works normally. Netscape still works well to access outside websites.
