Hi,

Apache + php + postgresql 6.5.1 worked greatly on my FreeBSD 3.1. However apache
reply is very slow after I enabled named (I was trying to use named as local
caching to speed up). If I kill named the apache replies normally. Then I
deleted "named_enable=YES" in /etc/rc.conf but apache is still slow. I can
keep killing named each time the machine boots up, but there must be some way.
Postgresql 6.5.1 still works normally. Netscape still works well to access outside websites.

Thanks inadvance for any help!

Chen
