[The message with a Xorg.0.log and the xorg.conf listed was long enough =
to require a moderator to
approve. It may eventually go through. The basic information is repeated =
here without those
two file listings.]

First I'll list some context identification then examples of the =
warning/error messages being logged.

Context:

FreeBSD FBSDG4466 10.0-STABLE FreeBSD 10.0-STABLE #0 r267232:
Mon Jun 9 05:14:29 UTC 2014=20
root@grind.freebsd.org:/usr/obj/powerpc.powerpc/usr/src/sys/GENERIC=20
powerpc

466Mhz PowerMac3,4 with 1.5 GBytes of RAM.

(--) PCI: (0:0:16:0) 1002:5144:1002:0908
Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
[AMD/ATI] R100 [Radeon 7200 / All-In-Wonder Radeon] rev 0,
Mem @ 0x98000000/134217728, 0x90080000/524288,
I/O @ 0x00000400/256, BIOS @ 0x????????/65536

I installed xorg, xfce, and xscreensaver packages from

http://people.freebsd.org/~nwhitehorn/powerpc-10-packages

and manually used startxcfe4. Other then adding font paths and freetype =
loading I used
Xorg -configure's output file as-is. And for very basic/initial use it =
was not obviously broken.

But using xscreensaver's panel dies for use of most any control. And =
other use fairly quickly
lead to hangups. To adjust xscreensaver's configuration I eventually =
just directly edited the
~/.xscreensaver file.

Example problems being logged:

=
*********************************WARN_ONCE********************************=
*
File radeon_tcl.c function radeon_run_tcl_render line 499
Rendering was 120 commands larger than predicted size. We might overflow =
 command buffer.

parameter)

Minor opcode of failed request: 9 ()
Resource id in failed request: 0x2000039
Serial number of failed request: 459
Current serial number in output stream: 459

[Note: The above is just an example: The report is not unique to =
"unknownpleasures".
The above was captured via script. It is not in the Xorg.0.log file.]

[The display had long hangups during the period for the above "EQ =
overflowing" messages.
The mouse's cursor did not track but would jump every once and a while =
(sometimes).
The above is from a Xorg.0.log file.]

(WW) `fonts.dir' not found (or not valid) in =
"/usr/local/lib/X11/fonts/ubuntu-font/".
	Entry deleted from font path.
	(Run 'mkfontdir' on "/usr/local/lib/X11/fonts/ubuntu-font/").

[The package install for ubuntu-font apparently did not put everything =
expected in place.
The file referenced was missing. The above is from the Xorg.0.log file.]
