Hello Everyone, There was a time when we were advised to build (or at least install) world in single user mode, for example https://docs.freebsd.org/doc/7.4-RELEASE/usr/share/doc/handbook/makeworld.html However, https://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/makeworld.html does not mention single user mode. Should I assume that these days best practice allows rebuilding world/kernel without needing to boot into single user mode? -- Janos Dohanics
