You mean:

        @${ECHO} "Warning: There are still some bugs in libc_r which prevent"
        @${ECHO} "         'mysqladmin shutdown' from working properly."

I think this problem was fixed many months ago and had to do with
an improper sigwait (or missing) implementation.  The sigwait
should work fine now.
