Hello, If you have something personal to address me about DCOM you are wrong. I am not an specialist about this and I do not want to read about this subject anything so please don't contact me about this kind of problems. It was a person posting a question about DCOM on BSD and I said my point. If you are interested about DCOM for FREE BSD don't omit to CC to BSD list if you have comments about this subject. And to clarify this problem about DCOM: Not everything which comes from microsoft is stupid but if you are in SW eng for a long time you can see with your eyes how they make the things more complicated. Day by the day. So I have my opinion about this: I do not use this SW. The life will gonna be more simple if we will keep it more simple. Belive me. Have a nice day, Stefan From my point of view DCOM = out of control. And by the way yes I call konsu wrote: > > well corba does not seem to be any better. > or is it that everything that is from microsoft is stupid? sounds like > paranoia. > anyway, you can find something at > http://www.softwareag.com/entirex/download/free_download.htm > have a nice day > konst > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: stefan parvu <stefan.parvu@comptel.com> > Newsgroups: muc.lists.freebsd.questions,mpc.lists.freebsd.questions > Sent: Wednesday, September 15, 1999 4:50 AM > Subject: Re: --- DCOM Support ? > > > Hi there, > > > > I don't know if there is a port for DCOM but you can forget about it. > > What about CORBA ?
