XFree86's XF86_Mono server should cover this.  Anyway, it's bound to
720x348 resolution, so the application must care for this.

The potentially biggest problem are people with CGA's or EGA's.  I
know that Hellmuth Michaelis is testing his pcvt console driver also
with them, but i dunno if there are any users outside with such
ancient boards (but i'm afraid for some older cheap notebooks).
