I am a newbie to FreeBSD and just did a pretty thorough install for QMAIL 
SQUIRRELMAIL and CourierIMAP.  When I went to reboot the system, i am now 
getting the following error messages:

warning:  unable to stat mess/1/1
warning:  unable to stat mess/2/2
warning:  unable to stat mess/3/3
warning:  unable to stat mess/4/4
...

The main console will not get to a login.  I can still connect through SSH 
terminal.

Does anyone know what happened here?  Any help would be great!!!!
