Personally, I use Python for CORBA stuff. Unless the thing I'm dealing
with was already writtin in C, in which case I use that. Dealing with
figuring out CORBA names in C is *not* painless. I also check every
once and a while to see if one of the Eiffel ports has grown an ORB.
