Difficult question with so little information.  ;-)

Did FreeBSD recognize your card before? Or did you just install your=20
(new) pccard? Do you have a dual boot system? Is it a 16-bit-card or a=20
cardbus version? What version of FreeBSD do you use?

I don't know this error but the FAQs say something about this problem:
