Pablo,
Looks like you $PATH environment variable is messed up .... include all the
relevant paths eg.

% echo $PATH
/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/home/ash/bin

that shd help in detecting the relevan X files.
