Verbose dmesg of hung start attached: What if you leave ACPI enabled but just disable SMP? Also, can you add 'DDB' to your kernel and break into ddb when it hangs and run 'show intrcnt' (ideally, let it hang, break, run the command, then continue and let it sit for a while, break to ddb again and run the command again). -- John Baldwin
