I tried to compile a custom kernel but the compilation stops. Errors i get is of type 'syntax error line...', 'undefined variable...' etc. It seems to occur in linux...c and linux...h files and i suspect it's caused by the option LINUX_COMPAT. Anyway, since i'm new to all this: 1. Is this the right list for this kind of stuff? or should i post in freebsd-questions instead? 2. Is it ok to send attachment on lists? i have captured the stdout and stderr of make (for the custom kernel) in different files. Can i send them to the list togrther with the kernel config file? Thanx a lot. Bernie To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
