This has already been resolved. The FreeBSD Documentation Project
documents the bits that the FreeBSD Project releases (through ISOs put
on the website, etc.). If company XYZ comes along and wants to add a
GUI installer to replace sysinstall, they should be encouraged to do
so. Obviously, it is up to that company to update the documentation
that they ship with their product to document mythical-EasyInstaller
instead of sysinstall.

I can't imagine anyone arguing for the 1st quote, and I think we've
all agreed that there is no single official CD producer anymore.
