I added that bit to the FAQ, based on information in a thread here on -questions, "Booting FreeBSD with Win NT" ~16 June 1999. I use boot1 for the NT loader as my NT and FreeBSD are on the same disk, so boot0 *should* work for you. Might be worth trying boot1 instead. If that doesn't work then I can't think of anything else. It's probably to do with having both IDE and SCSI disks. Hopefully someone with a similar setup will jump in and help.
