Unfortunately, I think this is one of those things that it's just _assumed_ that everybody knows. I've never seen a good explanation, anywhere of what an iso is and how it should be handled. Hell, some burning software makes it REALLY hard to be sure that your doing it right. The concept of "making it so easy anyone can do it" also make the people doing it ignorant of what they're actually doing.
