Hi Karkirat: I assume you are running FreeBSD, otherwise you wouldn't be subscribed to this mailing list? If you install kernel sources, most of your kernel networking code is under /sys/netinet and /sys/net. As far as 3COM specific code, please look for a 3COM developers mailing list. Not sure if you know, PDX has done significant research/development with FreeBSD in past years, most notably a mobile (wireless) IP testbed, consisting of access points and laptops running FreeBSD.
