There was a post to comp.os.linux.advocacy many months ago from an
alleged hotmail employee denying all claims that they attempted to
switch to NT.  The usual archive(s) may have a copy if you look hard
enough.  This may not be what you want (you're trying to convince
people why NT shouldn't be used right?) but it may be closer to the
truth than the alleged attempted conversion.  But then again MS have had
Hotmail for long enough now that they may have tried.  It would be
useful for them to attempt to run such a service with their flagship
OS so they really may have attempted to move it.  I doubt it could do
it but they could try nonetheless.
