I'm wondering if there is some way to get BSDPAN to register a Module::Buil= d installation as a package. Right now, it seems to require a perl package = built using ExtUtils::MakeMaker. I'm trying to create an installation packa= ge for an application, not just a module, and I need to be able to install = files in locations other than the standard Perl library directories. Using = App::Build, I can do that, but then I don't get the creation of a package i= n /var/db/pkg, and can't use pkg_delete etc. to uninstall.
