I commented options SMP in the kernel config. However, i still get: acpi_cpu1: on acpi0 device_probe_and_attach: acpi_cpu1 attach returned 6 In dmesg. I didnt comment APIC #options SMP # Symmetric MultiProcessor Kernel device apic # I/O APIC Should i also comment apic? How do i get rid of these attempts since i only have one cpu anyway? Bye, Mipam.
