Check out ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/2.1.0-RELEASE/src. The archives are split into 260k chunks; just cat them together and run them through tar xzf. I would recommend picking up the CD, however; the Live Filesystem CD contains the source fully extracted.
