While trying to correctly build the latest version of BLAS port, netlib
maintainers reported our version of f2c must be updated.
Current f2c version is dated Sept. 21 1997.

Try to build BLAS port by taking away the "degrading" patch. Other 
soon-to-be ports also seem to be affected.
